Rhythm Gunner is my entry for round 32 of the 48-hour game development challenge known as Ludum Dare. The theme was “An Unconventional Weapon,” so I made a Super Crate Box-like rhythmic platform shooter where the weapons require you to fire on beat!
The soundtrack (as well as all of the art) for Rhythm Gunner was fully composed within the 48 hours of the competition and took a little less than 3 hours of work time in total to make. Included are the different versions of the main stage music that play for each weapon rhythm.
